DESCRIPTION

S series SL5i-BL 7.62 Low Pressure is a new model that has been specifically developed to have significantly less back pressure than earlier suppressor models.

Especially recommended for 7.62 NATO / .308 Win rifles without adjustable gas mechanisms.

The suppressor also features an external flash hider for added visual signature reduction.

The suppressor can be used on 5.56 mm weapons as well.

The SL5i-BL 7.62 Low Pressure suppressor is mounted with an Ase Utra BoreLock flash hider mount or muzzle brake mount.

NOTE: The SL5i-BL 7.62 Low Pressure is compatible with all existing Ase Utra BoreLock flash hiders and muzzle brakes, including the HiPer flash hiders.

Manufactured in Finland by Ase Utra Oy, the suppressors are manufactured with a combination of black steel and 300 series stainless steel and are assembled by welding.*

Various BoreLock flash hider and muzzle brake mounts are available, to adapt the suppressor to a multitude of weapons, without permanent modifications to them.

* The BoreLock mount interface is black steel and the body of the suppressors is 300 series stainless steel.

PERFORMANCE

The S series SL5i-BL 7.62 Low Pressure suppressors reduce the weapon sound pressure level of a 7.62 mm NATO calibre rifle by c. 18-23 dB dB ( 1m left of the muzzle ) and 15-20 dB ( shooters left or right ear). The S series SL5i-BL 7.62 Low Pressure suppressors also reduce recoil and muzzle flash significantly.

* Suppressors can be used on these calibres, however the bullet channel is oversized compared to the calibre, possibly affecting suppressor performance. Also the suppressor may be too short, when compared to the power of the calibre.
** Safe to shoot, however the difference between the suppressor bullet channel and calibre is quite excessive and clearly affecting the suppressor performance.
